Unlike shallow well jet pumps that sit above ground, a submersible pump is installed directly inside the well casing and pushes water up to the surface — making it the correct choice for wells deeper than 25 feet. Franklin Electric FS Series pumps feature all stainless steel construction and floating stage hydraulics that improve efficiency and reduce wear even when pumping water with light abrasives. Available in 1/2 HP, 3/4 HP, and 1 HP in both 115V and 230V configurations for standard 4-inch well casings.
Grundfos SQ and SQE Series pumps are built for 3-inch well casings where a standard 4-inch pump won't fit. The 2-wire design means no separate control box is required — starting components are built directly into the motor. The SQE series is designed specifically for use with the Grundfos CU301 constant pressure controller.
