Control Boxes are required for 3-wire submersible well pump motors — they house the starting capacitor and overload protection your pump motor needs to run safely. Always match your control box exactly to your motor's HP and voltage rating. We carry Franklin Electric control boxes in 1/2 HP, 3/4 HP, and 1 HP for 115V and 230V single-phase systems.

Constant Pressure Controllers like the Franklin Electric SubDrive Utility and Grundfos CU301 use variable frequency drive technology to adjust your pump speed in real time, maintaining steady water pressure whether you're running one faucet or five. Unlike traditional systems that cycle on and off, a VFD controller keeps pressure rock steady and reduces wear on your pump motor over time. Most installations also require only a small pressure tank, saving space in your utility room.
